making plans one month at a time..

I'm a list type of person. I like to make lists about anything and everything... to do lists, grocery lists, etc. Well, my favorite type of list to make is a goal list. I've always been a goal driven person, making new goals and trying to achieve them to cross them off. It makes me feel so accomplished when I can finally cross something off that I've worked hard to achieve.

Annnyways, I've been getting a little bored with my every day routine so I decided that I need some new goals in my life to spice some things up a bit. I'm going to try to make 3 mini goals every month that I will strive to accomplish. The goals can be anything from just completing a single task to working on bettering myself a little bit at a time.

Here's how I looked at making my goals:

1. A goal that addresses my health (i.e. eating habits, exercising, etc)
2. A goal that betters me mentally (i.e. reading a book, studying more, learning a new word)
3. A goal that I can do for someone else.

Here are my February Goals!
1. Get on a regular sleeping schedule. 
(Preferably go to bed around 10:30 or 11 every night and wake up around 7-8 every morning)

2. Read one book this month. 
(I know this is easy peasy for some people, but I struggle to pick up a book and finish it!)

3. Make homemade Valentine's Day cards for family and friends and mail them out
(This one should be easy and fun.)



Go out there and make a few goals for yourself! :)
