Keith Urban mania

We got our Keith Urban tickets way back in April(ish?), so it seemed like a lifetime away. My mom joined the Keith Urban fan club which allowed us to get pre-sale tickets where we ended up with great tickets on the floor. We were ecstatic to begin with, but the concert was beyond amazing.

We got there and realized that our seats were so close!
Me, Janelle, and Gina
Mom and I
Also, the venue we were at was pretty small. The security allowed people that were on the floor to just walk up to the stage and take pictures up close! We were like little screaming girls when we ran up to see Keith THIS CLOSE:

Ah, sweaty Keith Urban in all of his glory.

The fun didn't stop there. I did a little research (this isn't my first concert/rodeo folks) and found out that Keith would be moving to a stage B halfway through the set. We knew exactly after which song he would be moving, and our game plan was to follow him back to the back and stand right in front of the new stage. And we did! BUT, our surprise came when Keith walked RIGHT DOWN THE AISLE WE WERE SITTING IN. We almost peed our pants. I got a video of him walking past us..
We all made sure to touch Keith's sweaty body as he walked past. haha! He actually was really sweaty.
But as soon as he walked by us, all four of us just followed him and his body guards back to the back. Our plan worked! We were seriously right up front for a good portion of the concert.
This was literally without any zoom whatsoever. He was this close!

The sound was weird however. There was a lag on the music and the drums didn't match up to the song we heard, I think that because we were so close we were hearing a different sound wave than what was being projected to the arena. We didn't care though! As long as we got to stare at Keith while he played, we were happy.

But anyways, I have to say this. I've been to many different concerts, and Keith Urban was definitely the most concerned about pleasing his fans. He was in the audience several different times, touched as many people as he could, he even gave away his guitar at the end! Even after the encore he stuck around on stage and signed autographs, took pictures, etc. He was amazing, and definitely one of the most genuine performers i've seen. If you like his music and have the chance to see him live, go! You for sure won't regret it.

Confetti at the end!

I got to touch Keith twice, he basically held Janelle's hand and interlocked with her fingers, and our hands were covered in his sweat.

Best. Concert. Ever.
