A couple weekends ago, Trevor's mom asked me to tag along with her on a road trip to Pittsburgh to get her hair done. I immediately said yes! (Pitt has an Urban Outfitters AND Forever21, so of course I was game) Plus, i've never actually spent time with just Mickey without Trevor along so I thought it would be a great time to just have some girl talk. It ended up being a beautiful April day! Mickey got highlights and a brand new cut which looked great on her.
We enjoyed the road trip and walking around in the shopping plaza afterwards. I browsed the shops and then we decided to go to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner. YUM. I don't have many pics from this day, but I still wanted to blog about it so in the future I can remember what a great day I had. We talked about everything... from how her and John (Trev's dad) met, to how Trevor asked me out, all about both of our families, etc. I loved spending time with her and super blessed to have a mom away from my mom. We ended up getting a little lost on the way home (oops) but laughed about it after the fact haha.
I can't say enough about how much I love Trevor's family. They are people that I can just go over to their house and hang out with even when Trevor isn't with me. They honestly make me feel like i'm at home here in Altoona, especially when I don't get to see my own family very often.
