Antelope Canyon

Continuing our Arizona road trip: As we left the Grand Canyon, we drove through northern Arizona which was again, incredible. This time, you could see the canyon made by the Colorado River on the entire drive. You would look to your left and just see a huge drop off. It was so pretty.

We made it to Page, Arizona which is home to the famous Powell Lake that stretches the whole way into Utah. The first thing on our bucket list was Antelope Canyon. I've heard a lot of great things about it from locals and it was amazing.

In order to get to the canyon, you have to drive through Jeep trails in the desert. The trails are blocked off to the public, so you have to book a tour in order to get there. This was the most disappointing part of the trip. It was soooo touristy and you had to stick with your tour guide the entire time. I would have enjoyed it more if you could explore it on your own.

The Canyon tours drove us out to the canyon. From there, we entered the canyon. The "slot canyons" as they are called were completely made from flash flooding, rain, and wind erosion over the years.

It's so crazy that places like this exist in our world.
