Our next stop?

I wanted to stop in today to update everyone on where we are headed next! So, our time in New Mexico has come to an end. It went so fast, and we really had a blast while we were down there. We got to do and see so many things that were on our bucket list. Plus, we ate SO much authentic Mexican food that was super good. That is going to be something i'm going to really miss.

Our next rotation is... [drumroll please..]
Washington D.C.!

How did we end up on DC?
We originally wanted to go somewhere south next, like South Carolina or Florida. My goal for this year was to skip winter completely. We were really close to interviewing in Charleston, SC. But.. we were a little homesick and wanted to be somewhat close to home for a little bit. So we are hoping that on our days off, we can spend our days at home. It's only about 3 hours from our house. Plus, it will be nice to be close to home for the holidays. I guess i'll have to just suck it up and buy a really warm winter coat to commute to work in.

Trevor's brother Clint lives down near DC so we are really excited to be able to spend a lot of time with him and Chelsey!

My goal for this rotation is to find a lot of hole-in-the-wall local food eateries and cute coffee shops. Does anyone have any recommendations?

We are hoping that we really like this rotation and we may extend up until our wedding in July. But who knows. The travel nursing world is so uncertain that it is pretty impossible to say where we will be in 3 months.
