For my bachelorette, my friends and I went down to D.C. to spend Saturday into Sunday. Seven of my closest girls came, and we had so much fun.
We carpooled down to the city. We stayed in a hotel right on Capitol Hill that had a rooftop pool and bar! So once we checked into the hotel we went up to the roof for some drinks and to hang out.
After an hour or two at the pool, we went back to our rooms to get ready to go to dinner and drinks. We popped open some champagne, turned on some music, and just hung out.
The best part of the weekend was having all of the girls that I love so much all together at once. I realized this as we were hanging out in the hotel room. Each and every one of them is so special to me, and I could honestly write paragraphs about each one on here.
After that we went out to for dinner. After taking them to a place I like by the water and it was packed, we walked right down the street and got some pizzas at another place.
After that, we all decided that we wanted to go somewhere and dance. Chelsey recommended the Clarendon Grill, which was a place where cover bands usually play on the weekends. We went there early, had a couple drinks, and stood in the front row dancing all night. The band played some favorite songs that we screamed along to and had a BLAST! I don't think I could have asked for a better night.
The next morning we woke up and had brunch before hitting the road.
I can't thank my girls enough for the amazing weekend. I just loved spending time with them and dancing the night away, not to mention all the great food and drinks we had.
Now... next week I get married!!!
