Our D.C. engagement photos

Hey guys! I have so much to write about, and I know many of you (aka my sister and cousin) have been regularly refreshing my blog to check for updates. I will get to my wedding and honeymoon posts soon! But going in order, I first want to post our D.C. engagement photos taken by my lovely friend Anna back in April.

I worked with Anna on the Labor and Delivery unit at the George Washington University Hospital in Washington D.C. She was instantly someone that I just clicked with, and I loved when I looked at the schedule and saw that we were working together. She has such a sweet soul and is pursuing her dream of being a photographer while she is also working full time as a nurse, which I admire. Often I would ask her WHY in the world she would be a nurse when she is an amazing photographer?

Our last days in D.C. were dwindling back in April and Anna reached out to me and said that she would love to take engagement photos of Trevor and I before we left. I was so excited! Many of you know how much we loved our time in D.C., so it was very meaningful for us to capture that time in our lives in photographs. We got together with Anna at Union Station and she made us feel very relaxed. We had so much fun with this shoot. Also as we were leaving after the shoot to head to dinner with her, she revealed to us that she was about 7 weeks pregnant! Now that she is much further along, she has her news out. She is due on Christmas!
