Holy cow, December almost seems like a lifetime away now that we are halfway through January already. Looking back on these pictures I realized that we did soo much in December. It was filled with get togethers and lots of new experiences for Hudson.
We started December off with Trevor's work Christmas party at Zach's and Hudson tried his very first BBQ chicken wing which he LOVED.
December was so big in milestones for Hud! He became a master at sitting up on his own. He could do it before this, but he really perfected it in December.
Hudson tried spaghetti for the first time and LOVED it. Timber did too. ;-)
Hudson had Christmas photos taken and pictures with Santa. It's funny because he normally is SO smiley but as soon as we try and get professional pictures taken he stops smiling!
December 18th I got the privilege to spend the day with Tara while she labored. I helped her through her contractions and was her advocate. It was amazing to witness her become a mother again and to meet her precious new daughter, Emma Louise! She is so sweet.
The week before Christmas my Grandma retired from her job at the local pharmacy. We are all excited for her!
Christmas with Hudson was an absolute blast. Of course he didn't know what was going on, but it was super fun for me to begin Christmas traditions with him. Starting traditions are the part of motherhood that I was the most excited about, and I can't wait until the years to come where he knows what is going on and is super excited for all of it.
On Christmas he had everyone doting all over him all day. He definitely wasn't used to that and I think he got a little stimulation overload, but he still had a great day.
A couple more random photos from December to round out the post.

One last thing. On Thanksgiving day Hudson started trying to crawl. He worked hard at it every day man, and we always thought that he would get it at any time. Well, finally the day after Christmas he started crawling like he knew how to do it all along! That was a fun milestone to meet during the holidays.
Here's to 2020!
