I loved this book. It was an easy read, and it was very interesting. However, that being said, it wasn't one of those easy readers that are extremely predictable and they seem like you could have written it yourself. It was well written.
Something Borrowed is about Rachel, who just turned 30, but she is worried because she still doesn't have a husband, or even a boyfriend. She figured that by the time she turned 30 she would have at least 2 kids and would have most of her life figured out. Her best friend, Darcy, has everything. She is gorgeous, tall, thin, and has an amazing fiancee, Dex. It seemed that Darcy always got the best things in life, leaving Rachel in the dust.
Things shift however when Dex approaches Rachel, two months before his and Darcy's wedding, and tells Rachel that he is in love with her and that she is the one he really wants to be with.
Rachel is then faced with the huge decision: protect her best friend, or follow her own heart and for once not be left in Darcy's shadow?
If you're looking for an easy, fun, summer read, I highly suggest this book! It was fun. :)
