my first post in what feels like forever!

I'm in the computer lab at school because currently, we have NO WiFi at our apartment. I'm really about to kill someone, it was supposed to be hooked up weeks ago. But anyways, I'm at the computer lab on campus. It feels weird not being able to get on here or facebook whenever I want, I almost feel isolated from the world.

College is going so good so far! It's going to be a stressful semester I can tell, especially since I have to get good grades, but I know that it will always work out in the end. It always does. I've been making a few friends here and there which is really nice. Everyone here seems really friendly and awesome, I'm really liking it.

I've been having so much fun with my roomies Mariah and Tara lately! It seems like every night we relax and do something fun. Walmart is literally a 5 minute drive, so we are there pretty often. We also are cooking things together like Cheerio treats! They were delish. But we are also suffering from "burnt food syndrome" which I guess happens to everyone when you have cheap appliances and you are cooking on your own for the first time. So I guess we may be eating burned food for a while...

It's been raining for a week now, and it's flooding everywhere. I guess we're being hit with several storms at once. My high school actually didn't open on Tuesday due to flooding. I was a little jealous because I still had classes. But yeah, sweatshirts are the prime clothing choice of the week! :)

I work tomorrow so Tara and I are staying in the apartment tonight! It's going to be fun. Steve (the guy who lives upstairs) is having a birthday party this weekend, so we may stop into that. Steve is pretty cool.

I've been doing a lot of thinking lately about life, the paths I want to take, and everything. Decisions are hard, especially if you're me. Because I can't make a decision to save my life. Taylor Swift has pretty much been my soundtrack for the past three weeks. I've been tossing my hair, singing into hairbrushes, and making Mariah and Tara watch her music videos. Ah, what a tough life :-p

Oh, and work has been great! I love my Hoss's peeps! We have so much fun working together, the greeters, servers, and kitchen guys combined. We all have fun, and they make work so much fun.

Alright, i'm about to leave campus and head back over to the apartment to make some lunch! yum.
