the 4th

The 4th is one of my favorite holidays, hands down. You get to stuff your face the whole day. This 4th I went to my Grandma's and ate a great lunch of hot sausages, pasta salad, baked beans, and other summer food. It was super good!

After lunch we headed up to Penn State for the Fourth Fest. We go there every year. We take canopy tents, chairs, tables, food, games, the whole works. It's like a mini tailgating session. We have a great time. There are carnival rides and games around too if you want to do that. Yesterday was so hot. We spent most of the day sitting in the shade. And we got some slushies. Perfect day for slushies.

This was this little guy's first Fourth. : )

And let me just say that Jess looks AMAZING after only a month of having him! She says she only has about 10 more pounds to lose until she's back to her pre-pregnancy weight. I hope i'm that lucky when I have a baby!


One of the best things about Penn State? The Creamery.

Only the best ice cream ever, hands down.

Oh, and Carly and Ryan came this year too!

The fireworks were incredible. They are every year. They are the kind that go off to music. Very awesome! But I didn't get a chance to get some good firework pictures because that's when my camera battery decided to die. But trust me, they were awesome!

The Fourth was great. I'm sad that we have to wait a whole year for the next one!
