little things

Summer is in a whirlwind all around me. How are we already almost into August? I can't believe how fast the time is passing. I am having so much fun this summer though, and that's what I need.

The night after we got home from Tennessee there was a huge thunderstorm going past and I was determined to get a picture of lightning. I probably took a total of 300+ pictures and here is the best one I got:

One of my favorite things about summer is the thunderstorms. And speaking of, did anyone see the movie Ted???? It is hilarious! Thunder buddies for life!


Emily had a little get together at her place one night and I hung out with these lovely ladies:

I got a couple of really sweet notes from customers at my tables:

Here's the thing: If you write me a note like this, I will probably put it in my scrapbook and save it forever. They really make me feel special. :)


I wore yellow pants one day:

I feel as if the yellow pants were important enough to document. P.S. Please ignore my messy room! I am in the middle of rearranging it, painting it, moving out of one apartment and into another so bear with me. I really do dislike those mirror pictures people post with a completely messy bedroom in the background but I feel as if my yellow pants totally cancel out the mess. ; )


I kinda got into a phase where I wanted to curl my hair all the time:

But that phase is over.

Oh! Guess what? Apparently I'm allergic to something.

Sweet rash, right? But no, a couple weeks ago I woke up with hives all. over. my. body. It was so awful. They are super itchy too. I have absolutely no idea what i'm allergic to, but the hives keep appearing every couple days. So I guess I must be re-exposing myself to whatever I'm allergic to?

When we went tot the beach we ate at some local restaurants that had excellent food. Here is a nacho appetizer we got to share the first night we were there:

I sometimes like to document how long my hair is:

I feel like it's growing pretty fast since I chopped it in January.

I've been bit by the running bug again! I ran every day this past week.

I can't believe there is only one month of summer left. I'll be packing as much fun into it as possible! :)
