Twice a year, Trev's family goes to Long Beach Island, New Jersey for vacation. They rent the same beach house each time and get a great deal on it, so they go twice a year: June and September. I love going with them each time. The trips always consist of bike rides or walks in the mornings, eating at little local places, Rita's, seafood, and good drinks. It is always a nice, relaxing week. I am so comfortable with his family that I treat them as if they were my own and we always have fun together. Also... the coolest part about Trevor having a twin brother is the fact that we almost always get to double date everywhere we go, and i'm so thankful that Chelsey and Clint are so fun to hang out with!
Trev and I took some pics on the beach at sunset this year. Because we go early and late in the year, the water is usually cold so we kinda avoid it - haha. But it is still nice to lounge on the beach, throw frisbee, and go for walks.
How amazing is that sunset? The bay off the coast is gorgeous. There's no one else i'd rather watch a sunset with.
Our beach house is right beside a little coffee shop called "How You Brewin?", and we will go for coffee a couple times during our stay.
Right down the street is a small diner called "Scojos", and we go for gourmet breakfasts multiple times a week! My absolute favorite thing to get there is french toast with fruit on top!
The best nights at LBI are the ones where we buy local seafood and cook a huge dinner at the house. Sometimes we will play games afterwards or sit on the porch and watch the sun set.
Can't wait to go back again in a month!
