Wedding planning: Bridesmaids

Picking bridesmaids was super easy for me, but picking groomsmen was quite the task for Trevor. He has a lot of close friends and didn't want to leave anyone out. We compromised by having six bridesmaids and six groomsmen. While that may seem like a lot to some people, if it were up to Trevor, he would literally have ten (or more!) groomsmen standing beside him. Six was the perfect compromise.

I'm going to shine the spotlight on my beautiful gals because they all mean a lot to me! Here's who I picked and how we know each other:

Carly is my sister, so it really was a no-brainer when picking who I wanted to be my maid of honor! She has already been helping me plan everything which has been a huge help.

Rayne (on left) is my cousin who I really consider her more like a sister. Her and Carly have been collaborating together to help me with my big day.

Emily is my cousin who has literally been my best friend growing up. We went to preschool, elementary school, and high school together. And then we even lived in dorms in college together! I was just part of her wedding over the past weekend and it was the most perfect day.

Tara has been one of my best friends since 9^th grade. We have the exact same sense of humor and are always laughing. I was just in her wedding in April, and she just had a beautiful baby girl!

Chelsey is my soon to be sister in law. She is engaged to Clint, who is Trevor's twin brother, and i'm so thankful that they are together because I love her! We became instant friends when we met.

Elaina has been one of my best friends since 7^th grade. We always have a blast together, and she is someone that I can always count on to be there for me no matter what!

I asked them all to be in the wedding with “Will You Be My Bridesmaid?” boxes that included a picture frame, a candle, a polaroid of us together (because I want to incorporate polaroids into my wedding), a bouquet of wild flowers and wild flowers to plant (because I'm going to use wildflowers at the wedding), and a small bottle of wine. It was fun seeing their reactions and saying yes!

I can't wait to have these girls by my side when the big day comes around! <3
