The past week has been amazing weather-wise around here. I've been trying to take advantage of the nice days by exploring Alexandria a little more before I leave. This town is gorgeous and I honestly wish I could stay forever. There are little boutiques and local food places on almost every block, and all of the flowers and trees are blooming. Those, along with the colorful row homes and brick pavers make this town dreamy.
Timber and I have been on numerous walks around town and we found this dog park where the pups can swim in the Potomac river. Needless to say, Timber was in heaven.
Timber LOVES the water! For about 20 minutes straight he ran at full speed back and forth in the river right in front of me. We played fetch with his ball and with a stick too.
Earlier this week, Chelsey and I went to Great Falls and walked the trails around there. It was beautiful! Great Falls was on my D.C. bucket list.
And Trevor and I went to a local ice cream shop in town while enjoying the weather. We both have to work tomorrow on Easter which sucks, but we will be home in exactly 2 weeks so we are trying not to complain! :)
