New beginnings in Boston!

Hey guys, writing to you from Worcester County, MA. We are currently stationed 40 minutes outside of Boston, Mass. We got here last Saturday! Currently we are housed in an extended stay hotel, which I am so ready to get out of. It's not bad, but i'm just ready to settle into our apartment, get everything unpacked and put away, and get groceries. We can move into our FULLY FURNISHED apartment tomorrow. Remember how we lived without furniture in New Mexico? We are moving up in the world, guys.

I'm not gonna lie, our last week in PA was a little rough. After having 3 months off from work, Trevor and I really didn't want to leave. I procrastinated packing until the day before, and for Trevor, he literally packed up his stuff the day we left. We made the decision to leave Timber at home with our friend Alex until we got up here and got settled into our new apartment. We are going to be back home for Clinton and Chelsey's wedding at the end of the month, so we will bring Tim back to MA with us then. Leaving Timber was the hardest part, and I cried ugly tears while we pulled out of our driveway. I know I will see him again in a couple weeks, but i'm so used to taking him everywhere with us that it was hard. Dogs really become part of your family.

On the bright side, Trevor agreed to taking Kitty along with us. I couldn't believe it. I've had kitty for 4+ years now and he's always been my side kick. You can tell that he is so happy to be here with us; He is constantly sleeping on my lap and following me around. Currently, Trevor is sleeping beside me on the bed while Kitty is laying against Trevor, his body molded against the outline of Trev's. Both are snoring. My heart is happy (It's the little things, I guess).

Trevor and I both agreed that the past 3 months of summer that we've had off not only flew by so fast, but they were the best of our lives. Trevor got to golf almost every single day. I finally got the kitchen remodel i've been dreaming of. We've had ample time to finalize the details of our wedding without worrying about work as well. We were both able to spend so much time with family and friends. I think that's what is so hard. The fact that we've been off work for so long, we are out of our groove. We started working again this week and both of us feel out of it. I'm sure before long it will become second nature again.

Other than that, we will be here until November 4th, friends! I would love it if someone would come up visit us. We are so excited to explore Boston and the surrounding area, and we will be up here for the fall foliage. We have a ton of stuff on our Boston "bucket list", and I can't wait to share it all with you! :)
