Our (basically) finished bathroom!

Guys, I couldn't hold back not talking about our bathroom any longer. We still have a couple more tiles on the wall to lay, a ceiling fan to replace, and two outlets to replace, but other than that our bathroom is finished!

Almost a year ago, I wrote a post on what our upcoming plans were for our bathroom. If you haven't read my post on my original bathroom remodel plans, click here. Due to our current extremely limited budget and Trevor's back, it took us awhile to finish this one. My plans included epoxying our bathroom tub and surround white because it used to be almond colored (done), adding a subway tile half wall (done), replacing the floors with hexagon tile (done), possibly replacing the vanity (done), replacing the ceiling fan (in progress), replacing vanity mirror and lights (done), and replacing the hardware/finishing touches (done).

The only thing that I didn't do that was in the original plans was to rip out the shower surround and add tile from the tub to the ceiling. We were hesitant to do that because we were on an extremely limited budget and ripping out the surround may cause damage that we would have to hire someone to fix. Maybe someday I will get my tiled shower, but for now I'm happy with how our white epoxied tub turned out.

I originally wanted to do white hexagon floors but Trevor actually talked me into the dark ones! I love the way they turned out!

The vanity is from Home Depot. Trevor picked that one out too! We swapped out the hardware to match the rest of the bathroom. Our sink faucet is from All Modern. I love talking about the details and where I found each item because I spent so much time researching every last detail.
I knew for sure I wanted to incorporate art into this moody bathroom. I got the art print on the shelf from Society 6. The abstract black/white canvas painting that was shown in the previous photos was done by me! Super easy and I love the way it looks. The little polaroid is a snap of us at our wedding!

The vanity lights are from Lowe's, and the mirror is from Pottery Barn.

We both love the way it turned out and it is very functional the way it is now! We have a place for everything and even have the bottom drawer of the vanity empty for Baby Beiswenger's future bath soap, lotions, and toys :) We only have one bathroom, so it feels great that we turned a room that we use everyday from blah into one we love.
