July 2019

Ok, ok, it's November. I get it. But i'm so far behind on this blog and I want to share some of our pictures and moments that we've had!

July seems like an eternity ago. I went back to work from maternity leave on July 1st which was super hard at the time. Thankfully, I was able to switch from a full time position to a casual position not long after I started. I now only work about 2 days a week and stay home the rest of the time with Hud.

We spent a lot of time in July sitting out on the porch. Hudson LOVES it outside. It seems to calm him down right away when he is fussy. A lot of times this summer I would just lay a blanket down in the grass and we would hang outside in the shade for a good while. April was a great time to have a baby because we got to spend the nice days of the summer outside.

For the 4th of July we went to Trevor's aunt's house for a picnic and fireworks. It was a nice day, but I will say that being out and about all day with an almost 3 month old was pretty tough. There was so much going on that he didn't want to nap, but then he was cranky because he was exhausted. I took my Solly wrap and he slept in that on me for awhile. He also was scared to death of the fireworks so we had to keep noise canceling headphones on him while they were going on. Overall it was a fun day though!

On July 6th we went to our friends Emily and Tyler's wedding. My mom and sister babysat Hudson while we went and it was great to get out of the house and have fun! It was our first real outing after having Hud.

More pictures of us just hanging out around the house:

I always get the best pictures in the bath:

He loved sitting in his chair. Which makes me sad because we barely ever use it now!

We were also able to go up to Trevor's aunts and test out a newborn swimming float. Hudson didn't mind being in the water surprisingly! It was fun to push him around in his little float. I'm looking forward to next summer and the summers after that when he can really start swimming.

Clint and Chelsey moved home in July! They were living in northern Virginia, close to Washington DC. It is so nice to have them only 10 minutes away now so Charlotte and Hudson can grow up together!

Finally, I'll leave you with a picture of the Beiswenger Boys, 3 generations:
