fun with friends

Last weekend I went out with my friends Emily, Amanda, and Elaina. We're all friends from high school and we've all went our separate ways to different schools, all of that jazz. It was Elaina's birthday and we made it a point to schedule time together for once. I love these girls and have so much fun with them every time we hang out.

Since I recently got my new camera, we decided to hit up the park and take some pictures, for the blog you know! ;)
Started the photoshoot off with some self timer pics. You know.

This picture above was pretty funny because we had no idea what kind of pose to do. I saw those three trees and tried to do some kind of cool pose, but we said that it ended up being more of like a "band album cover" instead of just a regular pose lol. We were laughing about that.

This picture was a "let's stick our head through these trees" kind of shot.
Please guys, no photos
I would like this picture if it wasn't for the awkward lighting. Do I sound like a real photographer, talking about lighting and all of that jazz?
Shooting for the latest Herbal Essence hair commercial

And of course, the traditional JUMPING pictures!
^haha, i'm just laughing at all of our expressions in this one.
Jumping pictures are fun, but I think the pictures that are taken before and after the jump are even better!

^I think Amanda has the jumping shot down, pat.

After our photo session, we headed to Pizza Hut to chow down on dinner. Yummm.
I tried the new Pzone with pepperoni, cheese, and mushrooms. It was good!
After dinner we decided last minute to go to the movies. We saw "The Lorax". Don't judge ;) By the way, that movie is pretty good for a kid's movie! I love the moral behind it.

And then after the movie we went and got some ice cream to top off the night. I had peanut butter in a waffle cone. No pictures though, darn it.

Best of all? Dinner, movie, AND ice cream total together was all under $20. Talk about a fun night!
