catching up...



I apologize for my lack of blogging. I've been super duper busy lately, working almost every day and really, there hasn't been much to blog about. Here are some tiny things that have been happening:

1. I got promoted from Hostess to Server at work! I was really excited. Not only will I start making more money, but work will become more enjoyable as well. I'm done training and i've worked a few shifts on my own, I really love it!

2. I applied at Hoss's in Huntingdon for a second job. Huntingdon is 30 minutes closer to my house right now then the Hoss's in Chambersburg, so I hope I can get the closer job for the summer.

3. Two nights ago I spent the night at Grandma's house. I had such an enjoyable morning with her, we talked and sat on the porch and drank coffee and tea. I wish I didn't have to leave!

4. I've been hanging out with Tara almost every day. Her house is seriously my 2nd home now, but it's so cool. I'm so glad she's my best friend :)

5. Freaky storms have been coming around recently. Yesterday at Hoss's, we got the biggest thunderstorm I have ever encountered. We got several calls saying that we were under a tornado watch, and when it started to hail, I literally was freaking out. Not only was it storming, but our electricity was in and out as well. It was hard to serve a meal to a table when the lights kept going out on you! OH, and a huge oak tree right beside Hoss's got struck by lightning. It is now in three pieces! It was crazy! What's up with all the tornado watches recently? We're in PA, this isn't supposed to happen!

6. I'm reuniting with all of my friends tonight! I'm really excited. I'm having a small party at my camp with a group of really close friends. I really couldn't be more excited!

7. I don't know why, but right now I have this weird feeling like I should be at the beach. You know that feeling you have when you're on vacation, and you wake up at the beach? I'm feeling that right now. What is up? I wish we were going to the beach sooner!

8. Because of Hoss's, I eat the Soup and Salad Bar almost everyday.

9. Wednesday night I had dinner at Grandma Anna's house with Grandma Sharon, Pap Pap, and Aunt Emily. We had stuffed cabbage. It was really good! I loved spending time with my family too. After that we went to Bible Study, and then back to Grandma's.

10. I'm totally bummed that Lauren Alaina didn't win American Idol, but I'm glad she got runner-up. I like Scotty as well though, so it's not a total loss!

Sorry for the lack of pictures, I'm bummed too. There really hasn't been much going on lately for me to take pictures of! Well, I work 11-7 today so I best be getting ready for work. Have a happy Friday!
