A Tribute to Prom

It's Prom season, and yes, I'm so jealous that I'm not going anymore! Since I didn't have a blog last year, you guys won't mind if I blog about it now, right? :)

Ahh, senior prom. Everything was pretty much perfect. This is Matt and I. My dress was nothing but silver sequins with a black ribbon along my waist. Matt had this thing where he HAD to get a top hat too, at first I thought it was a little ridiculous but in the end I thought he really looked good in it, and it went well with the look of my dress.

I am horrible at pinning on flowers! Is anyone the same way? Notice my dad is laughing at me in the background, haha.
The weather was rainy and really cold! Probably around 55 degrees. Luckily it stopped raining for a little bit so we could take a few outside shots.

Our ride was Matt's truck that he got the same week as a graduation gift :) It's a Dodge Ram. We were both really excited to ride in it!

On the way to the prom! Our prom was held about 30 minutes away at a Country Club. They served us dinner there and everything.

Here's a group of us, notice we're all FREEZING and you can tell it's about to rain. I'm glad it held off long enough to take these outside shots!

Me and Mariah

Our Prom King and Queen, Josh and Danielle. Although I loved everyone on the court and everyone deserved to win, these two made me so happy as King and Queen. You can't find two nicer people than them. They were both extremely deserving of the crown!

Matt, being Homecoming King, got to crown the Prom King!

And how cool, because I was the Snowball Queen, I got to crown the Prom Queen! (The Homecoming Queen crowned me.) So Matt and I got to crown together! I thought that was pretty neat.

 Royalty!

Doing the "Queen Wave"! We were laughing so hard as we were taking this picture.

Waahh, now I miss prom!
