Carter Austin

Jess had her baby and it's a boy! I am an aunt (sort of?). I just had this deep feeling that it would be a boy! And boy oh boy, he is CUTE. I just wanted to soak him in all day. I headed to the hospital with Matt and his family to see the new member of the family. It really was a fantastic day and we all welcomed Carter into the world with open arms.

I loved holding him. So much. This was really my first time holding a newborn (when my sister and brother were born I was too little to remember much) and I LOVED it. I loved soaking in his little fingers and toes, and every time he yawned it was the cutest thing.

Overall, the day was pretty wonderful. I realized that I love babies. I just want to soak in their babiness for hours on end. I just really can't wait to be a mom someday.
