I'm not afraid to admit that I am a nerd. It is totally true. My favorite subject in school was math. Whenever I was in 4th grade and most kids my age were playing outside, I was inside, figuring out HTML codes and was creating my own Harry Potter websites. (I had a website dedicated to Hermione/Emma Watson and it was called Charmed) I am the biggest Harry Potter fan around and i've read each book in the series at least 3 times. My cousin Olivia and I used to call each other and talk for hours about the books and discussed the newest movies that were in production.
The other day Mariah and I had a Lord of the Rings movie marathon. We sat around for 9+ hours and watched the movies while discussing them. And we loved it. We had a blast!
But guys.. my real inner nerd came out when Matt gave me his old Game Boy Color. Because guess what game of mine that I recently found? Oh yes. Pokemon Yellow.
Okay so when I was in 3rd grade I was OBSESSED with Pokemon. Not the show or the cards, but the Game Boy game. Me and some of the other nerdy boys at school would take our gameboys out to recess and battle each other's Pokemon. And we would discuss Pokemon. And those boys would show me all of the secrets on how to catch the legendary Pokemon, like Mew and MewTwo.
Yeah, I was hardcore like that. I've thankfully been able to transfer my obsessive, nerdy, energy into other things like blogging and scrapbooking and more normal, acceptable things that girls my age should be doing.
But yeah, I lost my Game Boy Color. But Matt recently gave me his old one. And i've been playing Pokemon like it's going out of style. Don't judge me. Or do. I'm still going to play it. =p
I can't believe I just shared that with you. I am the biggest nerd in the history of nerds. The end.
