Sunday musings

I'm sitting here in the glow of our Christmas tree on this Sunday morning drinking coffee and relaxing. The best part about waking up early is the feeling that you are awake before the rest of the world, and it is quiet and peaceful. Sundays are for cleaning and grocery shopping around here so I like to get up early and get to the store before most people get there.

I try to write blog posts about anything other than my pregnancy but it is hard because nothing much is going on in our lives right now. Trevor is still recovering from his back surgery in August. Although he is doing much better, he is still in pain daily and goes to therapy 3x a week. The pain is a different pain than what he had before surgery though, and we are hoping that it starts getting better once we near the 6th month mark which will be in February. He's still off work as of now but it looks like he will probably be going back in the middle of January. We just both want him to be better before April before the baby gets here.

Speaking of April, Trevor and I just realized that the Masters (golf tournament) is April 11th-14th this upcoming year, 4 days before my due date. I'm now convinced that this baby will come during that time period just to torture both of us. Torture Trev because his Masters watching will be interrupted, and torture me because i'm sure he will be trying to watch it while i'm in labor. I just know life will work like that, haha.

So yeah, life has consisted of me working M-F, Trevor going to therapy, doctors appointments for both of us, and spending the weekends together. I am happy to say that our bathroom is ALMOST done, floor tile and all, but we still have a few things that need finished. I'm going to share pictures once we have everything completed! It looks great and i'm so happy with the finished result.

In other news, Trevor got his first buck this year during hunting season! I'm so excited for him! His dad was with him and was able to drag it out for him. This is the first year that our freezer is finally stocked with deer meat!

I'm going to go get started on the day! Over and out.
