My room

I like to decorate. I like to organize everything. And my room pretty much shows it. I paint on my walls, I organize everything. Everything has a place. And my room changes all the time. I'm always looking for a way to make it better. So, I figured I'd post pictures of it on here now so that I can always remember what it was like at this moment, especially when I have my own kids and they are curious to see what it looked like when I was their age. So here it is:

That little beach shovel on my wall is from Matt. He picked it up for me when he went on vacation.

 The balloon Matt got me for Valentines Day is still floating. And the dog on the end of my bed is from Matt too. He gave it to me for our very first Valentine's Day

 I painted the palm tree on my wall, and Matt made me the sign that says "Life is a Beach, Watch out 4 the crabs!" He made it for me his senior year in wood shop. He painted it and everything :) The roses on my mirror are from Matt and my 3-year anniversary a year ago. And the stain on my carpet is from painting the room and spilling it. Matt helped me paint my room too! We were only dating for a few months when we painted it.

 Mom superglued the flip flops onto the wall. And she made my curtains too from hula skirts from the dollar store. I got the Taylor Swift poster at her Fearless concert in August 2009.

 The metal file holder beside my bed is where all of my scrapbooks are. In the yellow toy box in front of my bed is where I usually put my summer or winter clothes, depending on the season :)

I painted the mural on my wall a couple years ago. It took me a couple weeks, but it was fun! It makes me want to paint more! If anyone wants some creative pictures on their walls just contact me :) I'm thinking about painting some inspirational quotes or something else on these. Oh, and the big picture of Matt and me on the wall is from Myrtle Beach in 2009. Crazy to think that it was almost two years ago!
