a friendly outing

Saturday I unfortunately had to work 11am-7pm. It rained ALL day. It was pretty ridiculous. But determined rain-drenched old folks still marched their way into Hoss's all day. Those guys love their Hoss's. But as I was working I was looking forward to that night: going out with my friends Amanda and Elaina!

Amanda has been my friend since Kindergarten, literally! She's also dating one of my best guy friends, Josh, who lives about two miles down the road from me.
Elaina and I have played basketball together since 6th grade. We've been super close too. She is hilarious and crazy. I always have a fun time when I'm out with her!

So after work I met Amanda and then we met Elaina. We went out to eat at Boxer's Cafe, which is a bar and restaurant. I felt bad though because when we got there at 8:30, the waitress was completely shocked that we wanted food. She made us rush through ordering and then made a big deal about it. I thought because there was a bar as well that they would serve food until late, but I guess not. I wish the waitress would have explained that to us a little nicer.

After we ate we went to good old Walmart and took some classic pictures. Then we went to Wendy's and McDonald's and got some Frostys and McFlurries. Yummm <3

I haven't seen them in forever, and I had a great time! I love girl time :)
